At long last, IN GUNS WE TRUST: The Unholy Trinity of White Evangelicals, Politics, and Firearms has been released, and it's available wherever you buy your books!

I had a lively standing-room-only launch event at Riffraff Bookstore & Bar in Providence, R.I., on pub day, in conversation with the wonderful Nelba Marquez-Greene, a nationally prominent gun violence prevention activist who lost her 6-year-old daughter, Ana Grace, in the Sandy Hook mass shooting.

Early sales and reviews have been solid. (A new friend in Boston told me she tried to check out a copy from her local public library and was told all six of the library's copies were out, with a waiting list!)

I've been doing a flurry of podcasts about the book: CBS Boston's Keller @ Large show; The Boston Globe's Rhode Island Report; Ocean State Media (formerly Rhode Island PBS) with Ian Donnis; In Conversation With ... NYT bestselling author Frank Schaeffer; A Matter of Faith: A Presby Podcast; the How to Heal Our Divides podcast with Brian Allain; and many more are in the works.

With Nelba Marquez-Greene at our pub day event in Providence on Oct. 14.

I've also recently been interviewed by Writer's Digest and Kathryn Post of the Religion News Service, and IN GUNS WE TRUST was featured in Axios' mass-circulation AM newsletter. More print/online interviews are in the pipeline.

Grab your copy today, and join us as we seek to reshape the national conversation around faith and firearms!
